DNI Investments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer specializing in cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure to join our team. As a System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting programs in cloud migration planning, design consultation, coordination with the CDC Enterprise Cloud Team, adoption of DevSecOps practices, and providing technical assistance to programs onboarding to the CDC enterprise cloud. Your expertise will contribute to the successful adoption of cloud-centric solutions and the seamless integration of program systems with the enterprise cloud.

• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
• Solid understanding of Azure networking concepts, including Virtual Networks, VPNs, private end points etc.
• Knowledge of various Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, ADF, Storage Accounts etc.
• Experience in designing, deploying, configuring, and managing these services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git for managing infrastructure code.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Azure services.
• Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Application Insights for monitoring and logging.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest Azure services and industry best practices.
• IaC tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Azure security best practices and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or closely related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience or a minimum of 7 years of experience to satisfy degree and experience requirements.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Databricks and Deltalake.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Azure Devops Pipelines, and GitLab/GitHub.
• Proficiency in containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft AD and Microsoft Visio.
• Familiarity with Splunk Cloud for monitoring and log management.
• Experience with ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
