Overview

Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) recently began a program supporting Application and Software Development for United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). We are currently seeking an experienced, self-starting Application Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the MME Application Developer will be to design, develop, and implement interactive web/mobile applications that will integrate with the USASOC Modular Mission Environment (MME). The USASOC MME is an Azure based cloud-enabled tactical environment and the primary goal of these custom developed applications will be to focused proving various methods for users to capture and view data from a variety of connected peripherals in order to increase situational awareness, command and control, and deliver intelligence-driven analytics, allowing SOF to provide accurate and timely operational information to commanders.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong Knowledge of IT control concepts such as zones of trust, zero trust, and privileged access management.
  • Experienced with Agile framework and ability to apply best practices using industry standards.
  • Understand TCP/IP and UDP/Multicast networking.
  • 5+ years Software Development in Java, VUE, NODE, or Python
  • Experience developing applications in Azure.
  • Experience developing Android applications.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and experience working with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey Development strategy and integration activities.
  • Ability to provide live demonstrations and participate in end user training events.
