Overview

As a Software Developer with SharePoint Experience, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions to support our business processes and enhance collaboration across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, develop custom features and applications, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.

Responsibilities

SharePoint Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and site features, using SharePoint Online and on-premises versions.
Application Development: Experience with Object Oriented Programing languages required. Build and maintain web applications and services using .NET, C#, JavaScript, and related technologies, ensuring high performance and scalability. Experience with Relational Database design required - Oracle PL/SQL or MS-SQL preferred.
Integration: Integrate SharePoint with third-party systems and services using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and other integration tools. Experience Windows Server and IIS optional, but helpful
Customization: Customize SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists to meet business requirements and improve user experience. Experience with web development standards/frameworks required - HTML, CSS, JavaScript required, and jQuery preferred.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for SharePoint-related issues, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and ensure system stability and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver projects on time. Experience with software development tools and process preferred - SCRUM, Sprints / Jira, Git, etc.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and deployment procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint and development trends, and continuously seek ways to improve processes and technology.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on SharePoint.

o Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint 2016/2019.
o Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell.
o Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL.
o Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React).
o Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and other integration tools.

          o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
          o Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

 

  • Must be able to pass a T5 security clearance investigation
  • Current Security+ certification or other DoD 8140 IAT/IAM Level II / III certification required.
