Overview

Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is a sub-contractor providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) Intelligence support for Operational, Functional, and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) capability development efforts. This support is provided to the Intelligence-Capability Development Integration Directorate (I-CDID), Requirements Determination Directorate (RDD) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Support includes, determining required capabilities, performing analysis, identifying gaps, developing solutions across the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) spectrum, integrating capabilities across all warfighting functions, conducting studies and analysis, developing and integrating operational architecture, optimizing force designs, and providing capability analysis and management.  The goal is to assist in the development of a combat-ready Intelligence force for the Army and Joint forces within established resources.
 
The Intel Research Specialist II must be able to read, write, think critically, speak clearly, and present themselves in a clear and confident manner. Additionally, individuals will possess interpersonal skills that enable them to work efficiently with senior leaders and as members of a team. The Intel Research Specialist II will develop and provide required documentation, products, and services in support of the following tasks: 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Government with integration, assessment, prioritization, and synchronization of required Intelligence communications capabilities.
  • Provide expertise in Army Intelligence Communications and Signal/Cyber communications concepts, TTPs, networks, and systems.
  • Perform as a capability developer supporting Army/Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (ACIDS/JCIDS) processes.
  • Perform Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis, identifies gaps, and develops recommended solutions for current and programmed requirements.
  • Document and validate key sensor requirements and performance attributes spanning all Army warfighting functions and computing environments.
  • Identify, integrate, assess, prioritize, and synchronize Intelligence communications capability requirements and solutions across all Army warfighting functions and all Intelligence layers (Foundation, Identity, Terrestrial, Aerial and Space).
  • Support development of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) architecture products.
  • Produce capability assessments, presentations, information papers, point papers, white papers, spreadsheets, executive summaries, concepts of operation, and briefings to senior leader.

Qualifications

  • DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication networks, network engineering, computer science, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. (Equivalent experience includes 6+ years of experience with communications and networks at multiple echelons.)
  • Knowledge of the Army Intelligence process, operations, capabilities, and formations.
  • Knowledge of computing technologies and standards that enable secure and interoperable applications to be rapidly developed and executed across a variety of computing environments.
  • Knowledge in all areas of architectures, communications, data management, information sharing, and security procedures related to Intelligence systems and operations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively on complex projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can clearly articulate and effectively convey insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Experience with briefing techniques and methods, delivering findings to non-technical audiences, including senior military or government leaders.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
