The DNI Contracts Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and other relevant regulations, as well as exceptional negotiation and communication skills. The Contracts Specialist works with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract terms, mitigate risks, and facilitate successful contract execution.
Competencies:
The Contracts Specialist role requires someone who has exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills. Additionally, this person must have the ability to multitask, problem solve, create documentation of processes, work both independently and in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with people of varying experiences and backgrounds is critical.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role that primarily requires sitting at a desk in front of a computer for long periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time exempt position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; additional hours are expected at times.
