The Superintendent/Project Manager coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.
Maintains the job site office and closes out projects. As a Superintendent you will meet with the Construction Manager as soon as job is awarded to review and plan for materials, safety, labor and equipment budgets and other issues. You will conduct preliminary jobsite visits as necessary for job preparation. You will meet regularly with your manager to review the progress of ongoing jobs and to discuss problems that are outside of your authority. You will be responsible for training workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures and company policies. We are looking for a person who can act as a Superintendent and can assist with Project Manager duties in their downtime such as helping put bids together for new work.
